This will be brief as I am in a transition time trying to get settled in my new (temporary) desert home. I am currently hanging out in Bullhead City, Arizona in a nice campground on Lake Mohave called Katherine Landing.
The overlander book project has suffered a bit because of the moving and trying to take care of some loose ends, so please bear with me as I get my ducks in a row. The weather had been extremely unseasonal for here in fact, New Years Eve day it snowed here for the first time in 47 years or so the locals were saying. Anyway, I hung out at the local Buffalo Wild Wings and watched Boise State beat the Arizona Wildcats in the Fiesta Bowl. Made the food taste just that much better. I enjoyed a burger and a big order of boneless wings! Yumm!
I am writing this in the Mohave County library here in Bullhead City and it will be a very nice place to use as a temporary office so I am considering moving my mailbox and storage locker here to make it very convenient. Pretty nice people here too. Making a lot of new friends and have become an unofficial member of the white vehicle-living on the road club, which is also unofficial! It is great sharing experiences and "living out of your car" tips and tricks with each other.
I hope to get better at posting on the blog and getting the rest of my social media channels populated so hang in there with me.
Thanks,
Bob
